Project Summary

This article introduces the core themes of the multilevel paradigm. The central theme is functional organization. Part 2 of this series summarizes the core themes of the multilevel economic paradigm: multiple, flexible levels of functional organization; agency; the embedded economy; radical uncertainty; perspectival diversity; multilevel economic decision-making; and multilevel flourishing. We highlight the central role of functional organization in bringing these themes into relation with one another.
